production clip, alternate ending & fight pre-visualize
Disc 2On the Main Menu select the menu entry 'The Production.' On the following page, highlight 'Development Hell Part 1' and then press the 'Right' arrow key on your remote control. This will highlight some slashes on the screen and give you access to 'Cabin Fever,' a 6-minute production clip about the shooting of Kelly Rowland fighting off Jason in the cabin.
Another hidden feature can be found in the 'Deleted Scenes' submenu, accessible from the disc’s Main Menu. Once there, highlight the arrow pointing right. Then, press the 'Up' arrow key on your remote control and a bloodsplatter will appear on the screen. Press 'Enter' now and you will be treated to a clip of the filmmakers discussing an alternate ending for the movie that was never heard of before.
A third Easter Egg can be found on the disc by going to 'The Production' and then selecting the 'Visual Effects Featurettes' menu entry. On the following screen press the 'Right' arrow key on your remote control and some bloody slash marks will appear. Press 'Enter' now and you will see the two 'Pre-Vis Fight Scenes' 'Put the dog to sleep' and 'Man the torpedoes.' They are computer generated versions of the fight scenes between Freddy and Jason the filmmakers created to pre-visualize the fight.
