Dimension has provided the first details on the 2-Disk Sin City: Recut & Extended Edition which will be released on December 13, 2005 and will include:

-1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen
-English DTS 5.1 and Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround tracks
-The 124-minute theatrical release
-The 147-minute extended cut
-A commentary with director Robert Rodriguez & Frank Miller
-A second commentary with Rodriguez & Quentin Tarantino
-A third commentary containing Austin Premiere crowd reaction
-A 15-minute film school with Rodriguez
-A Movie in High-Speed Green Screen feature
-17 uninterrupted minutes of Tarantino's segment
-Footage of a Sin City cast/crew party
-A 10-minute cooking school with Robert Rodriquez
-4 featurettes on the cars, special effects make-up, costumes, and props
-a featurette on how they convinced Miller to assist with the film
-a featurette on casting
-a featurette on Tarantino the guest director
-Trailers
-Bloopers
-An interactive game

Topping it all off will be a complete Sin City graphic novel (The Hard Goodbye), worth around $17. The whole DVD, packaged with the graphic novel, will cost around $39.99.

Well obviously not people like you who did not like this movie :D However I look forward to it as do many others. I decided not to buy the single disc release cause I knew this would eventually come out. I am a little surprised by the $40 price tag though.

Including the book in theory = cool
Including the book when almost everyone who actually cares about an extended cut of the film already owns the book = not cool.

I guess I'll have to sell my copy of the book.

Having to wait sucks but it will be worth it since it's such a cool movie. Can I assume with a name like Scotster and being from the UK that your favorite movie of all time is "Braveheart"? LOL :D

I really need to see this movie!! I have seen soooooooo many crap movies this year and i have no idea why i would miss this one as its meant to be a goodie! Need to wait for uk release tho =o(
