If anyone has just obtained this DVD set, could you check the last episode #22 "The Sounds of Thunder"
to see if they chopped out (or re-did) the original Barry McQuire tune "Eve of Destruction"?

Reason is another studio: 'Anchor Bay' - did just this on the "Greatest American Hero/Season 2" DVD set
in the episode "Operation Spoilsport" - apparently for copyright law; 'Universal' is the studio for A-Team.

BOTH shows are from Stephen J. Cannell productions so it would be interesting to find this out BEFORE you buy it.

Also on episodes #5 and #15 there should be the original 'Huey Lewis' and 'Boy George' recordings respectively.

We're told this S4 set has a $5-off coupon good for SEASON FIVE - the LAST of the series w/Robert Vaughn,
which should be due around OCTOBER this year...

..in which ALOT of fans are HOPEFUL Universal will finally provide SOME important bonus features...
..interviews - outclips - ANYTHING!

This has happened with quite a few tv shows, execs just dont want to buy the rights to songs for 20 year old (or older) tv shows. This is the reason there is no DVD release of the Wonder Years.

Just learned that Universal DID NOT edit out the original tune in that episode #22.
Which means the STUDIO (Anchor Bay) that made "Hero" on DVD couldn't pay for the rights, correct?
