There is a Limited Edition version of V for Vendetta that doesn't seem to be available to purchase anywhere. Every time I explain to a clerk at a store that I'm looking for the Limited Edition version they say, "oh, yeah, we have that." And then they come back with the Special Edition.
I wonder if anyone knows where it is available?

Perhaps they're all sold out. After all, it is a "limited" edition.

If you have a BEST BUY located near you, check their inventory.
I was at my local BB on Sunday - a great sale on SpEd DVDs [Buy 1 @ $17.99 and get 1 FREE, so $9.00 per title] - and I picked up these four: LEON-The Professional [SpEd Superbit], BLACK HAWK DOWN [3-disc Super SpEd], CHARIOTS OF FIRE [2-disc SpEd], and ALL THE PRESIDENT'S MEN [SpEd that includes the new "Deep Throat" identity news from last year].
And I walked by a HUGE "V for Vendetta" display, and just briefly glanced, and it looked like Best Buy had all the various editions for sale (I assume). I'm waiting for this one on upcoming HD DVD, and will rent it then.

It depends on where you go. If I recall correctly, there are two "limited" editions: one at Best Buy and the other at Target.
The BB one includes the Guy Fawkes mask while the Target one has a comic and lenticular cover.

BB in Canada doesn't have the guy Fawkes mask, but we get the lenticular cover and the comic book, they're mostly sold out though. Futureshop just has a lousy metal slipcover...

I've seen the 2 disc edition referred to as the limited edition. The special promotions (mask from best buy, lenticular cover etc.) are limited editions but I believe the 2 disc edition is limited in and of itself.

The weekly ad in my paper said the Limited Edition (comic book and lenticular cover) was a Target Exculsive.
I bought mine the week it came out, and the cover looks awesome and the comic book is nice. I recommend it if you can find it.
