For everyone who does not know what will be featured with the Get Smart dvd sets, I have posted some information below about all of the great extras that will be included. All of this and more can also be found at WouldYouBelieve.com/dvd.html. The complete dvd set can only be pre-ordered at Time-Life by going to GetSmartOnDVD.com. They cost $199.96 (or 4 payments of $49.99 + tax). This is a great deal since the individual seasons will not be available for a few months. Also, I'm so excited that they will ship by November 15th before the Christmas rush!
Just a Few of the Great Extras and Features!
- All episodes have been completely restored and mastered.
- Each episode is original and uncut.
- Barbara Feldon has done audio introductions for each episode.
- Different episode audio commentaries have been included by Mel Brooks, Buck Henry, Don Rickles, Barbara Feldon, James Caan and more.
- Interviews of Barbara Feldon, Buck Henry, Bernie Kopell, Leonard Stern and Bruce Bilson.
- Don Adams appearances in other tv shows, such as The Bill Dana Show, The Andy Williams Show and more.
- Bloopers from seasons 3 and 5.

- Featurettes and lots of other bonus material!
I am so glad that I have pre-ordered all 5 seasons. I am SO looking forward to getting them. November can't come soon enough! Visit WouldYouBelieve.com/dvd.html for lots more goodies!

If you're for real, I appreciate the enthusiasm. But why do I still smell the odor of spam in the air?

I haven't checked into this set of DVDs yet, but have a question...
Will the episodes be mastered in Anamorphic Widescreen for DVD?
The reason I'm asking is that HDNet has been showing older HOGAN'S HEROES episodes for awhile now [shot on film, not video], remastered and broadcast in 1080i, high-definition widescreen (excellent quality), and so I'm thinking - were the GET SMART episodes also shot on film... therefore meaning they could also be mastered in widescreen, and also later in high-definition?
Anyone know? It's exciting to think that the older series [shot on film] could be released in Anamorphic Widescreen DVD, or 1080i high-definition widescreen HD DVD.
-Love Hendrix!
