Do movies that are 2.35 in theatre ever come out as 1.85 on dvd? I noticed the SM2 trailer featured on movies such as Secret Window and Hellboy are 1.85.
Was this the case with Blade2 hence the wrong ratio put on the dvd cover?

Depression:
1) Some DVD covers simply have mis-prints.
2) On the other hand, movies shot with the Super35 process are meant to be projected in theatres at 2.35:1, but because of the extra acreage of image available, you can re-compose a frame to something less extreme than 2.35:1. For example, "Star Trek VI" was shown in theatres at 2.35:1, but it's current DVD ratio is between 2.00:1 and 2.20:1.
