Might anyone give me an exact deffinition of the term "movie buff", please?

I doubt that there is an "exact" definition, Sasha, but a "buff" in English (among other things) is a "devotee or well-informed student of some activity or subject." --Random House Unabridged Dictionary of the English Language.

So, a movie buff is someone who loves and is knowledgeable about movies.

I always thought that a movie buff was what came after a movie wax...

Josh,

Not bad! Trust me, I've been called MUCH worse. :D

Sean (I mean, c'mon, do I seem like a Dorkinator to you?...)
