just saw this one today and loved it. it is one of the best spy movies i've ever seen. the movie, like the first "Bourne", is primarely a cat-and-mouse chase, but this one is certinaly and exciting chase.
my thoughts
8/10
(would have been 9/10, but as many of you have stated before, the shaky camera work got very annoying. it served its purpose by making the film look more realistic, but it really got to be sort of a hassle and an annoyance later in the movie.)

Yeah, but they got everyone else back, so why couldn't they get the same guy? :)

Eddie,
One more thing. In The Bourne Identity, Conkilin says "I want them all activated." That would be Clive Owen, the one that killed Conklin, and the one that jumped out of the window. That would have to mean that he is the one killed Conklin, because there isn't other treadstone assasins. I know it's a small thing, but damnit.

TWill,
I know what you mean, especially with the actors looking alike. However, the guy who killed Conklin seemed much more serious than the guy in this movie. Plus, the sequel takes place two years after the first movie, so we can assume that the guy who killed Conklin died in between movies, lol.

I too thought the movie was excellent. Along with Spider-man 2 and I, Robot and the upcoming Manchurian Candidate good too see some imtelligent summer movies. I have one question: Was the assasin that Bourne fought with the rolled-up magazine, the character in the original who killed Concklin? Of course, it was a different actor, but he said only Bourne and him were left. If so, wonder why the original didnt come back?

Wow, wow, wow, and more wow! I knew this movie would be better than the first, but I did't expect to be gripping my armrest so tight as to leave permanent fingerprints on it! The car chases were I N S A N E!! I thought Eddie was kidding when he said you'd be glad to have the car chases over with, but he was right! It wasn't that it was too much for the movie, rather that it was just so intense for such a long period of time, that you needed a breather for a minute or two!
I've heard a lot of people complain about the "hand held camera" feel to the whole movie, and that it was "too distracting" and what not, but I didn't mind it at all. I think Director Paul Greengrass probably wanted to create a feeling of being right there with Jason Bourne, experiencing everything he was... like you were running along side him or something. I liked it a lot!
Excellent movie.

Yeah, the final scenes were amazing. Bourne really gets beaten up a lot in this movie.
SPOILERS AHEAD
I liked the little but important things like after Bourne misplaces his fall onto the boat, he has a small limp for the rest of the movie, and how he is really exhausted before he gets into that taxi cab for the final chase.
He doesn't keep his cool like he did in the first movie, he really looses it a few times (like with julia styles character, or at the end of the final chase).
