After reading Eddie's write up on the movie I went in thinking it can't possibly be THAT bad can it... and to my dismay much of what he said is true. Though, I did enjoy the movie more than a 5... ;).
The most frustrating aspect for me was the resolution to the relationship with Amelia. They my as well cut out that entire character if they were going to drop to those standards.
However, the technical achievement of breathing so much life into those set pieces was amazing none the less. I honestly thought it was a real airport until I read that it wasn't.

What you need to do is to look at Zhang Ziyi more often. Then you'll see that the airport in "The Terminal" ain't all that good--not even the sets. :)
