Also, saw this movie last weekend. A great little samurai movie with great fight scenes. The movie is more gorier than Kill Bill, but all the blood is CG and intentionally cartoonish. Anyway, this post was directed a little toward Eddie, because he always reviews the original. I havent seen the original series, but enjoyed this one quite a bit. I was curious if there's anybody who's both, how they vary?

As the movie is in limited release, I'll wait to see it on DVD. I do want to see it, though. :)

Why wasn't this movie in many theaters? I want to see it but its not playing anywhere.

I know here in Denver it only played in the art house theater for a week. It's coming out on DVD in a few weeks though:
