Had it for about 6 months now, and have never had any problems with it. It plays all types of discs including VCD, SVCD, MP3-CD's and DVD-RW. Also it plays home-burned CD's just fine.
On top of that it looks pretty cool I think. It's not very tall.

Is it multi zone? I've got a sony but am getting some foreign movies and cant play em.....also does anyone know if the X-box or playstation 2 is multizoned?

Yes it is codefree. You don't even have to change the codes with your remote.
