Pre10ders,
I've got the Samsung HD841, and am only moderately impressed with it. I use the DVI-to-HDMI connection for my TV. The quality is outstanding, but there are other issues with that player including the inability to play out darker scenes, making them seem uniformly black where there should be detail. I've also heard the Toshiba players are, in essence, garbage.
If I were to buy a DVI-DVD player now, with upconversion, I would go with the V, Inc "Bravo D2" or Denon 1910. I've got a Monster cable... I know, too much money for too-little value, but it was there while I was buying so I picked it up.
