i saw the poster for this, and saw that the british dvd is coming out soon. could someone please tell me what this is?

I saw the trailer for this, I think it looks pretty funny. Basically, zombies take over England and it's up to a slacker walmart/target type clerk to save the day. Looks similar in tone to Peter Jackson's Dead/Alive.

I was just about to say TWill, that Dead/Alive was a very funny zombie movie (campy funny), like the puss cream part, but you beat me to the punch.
Is this film a Leslie Nielson comedy, or a Kevin Smith comedy (where some rules of reality still apply)?

I just "listened" to the trailer. (There's a problem with the software I think, couldn't get any video) It sounds pretty funny though! British humor has typically been dry, and an acquired taste. I find it funny at times, but more often than not, it's just a little too dry for me. The BBS TV show "Red Dwarf" for example is hillarious at times, but to me, most of the time it might give me a smirk, and slight chuckle. "Shaun Of The Dead" however (what little I've heard of it) sounds VERY funny, and off beat from the standard British pattern. I'm wondering what's giving it an "R" rating however.

There's supposed to be a "Red Dwarf" movie in the works. However there's no info. on IMDB.

Trailer for this has been out for some time, and I believe this film has been out in the UK already. It's a farcical comedy, think Night of the Living Dead staring the cast of Office Space.

Saw this on Saturday night and loved it. Definately one of the best zombie movies I have seen. It is very funny with characters that you like and care about. Also, some good zombie gore too.

i'm going to see this tonight at 7:15. i'll be sure to post how i liked it. and if you want to see this, you should do it soon, as it is only showing 4 times a day in a 50 mile radius of me, and that number is decreasing. i cant wait!
