Cables for Dvd player hookup

i am about to buy a new dvd player and i am torn between the monster cable 2 and 3(both are component). I know monster cables are good but is there REALLY a difference between the two? or would i be wasting my money?

You might try to find a store that will actually demonstate a hookup with each set of cables, perhaps to adjacent televisions.

What I like about the Monster cables I own is the mesh that surrounds the cable. It's indestructable. That having been said, if you are very gentle with your products, you'll find that they are comparable in performance to many cheaper brands.
