Neither team are on my good side. Eagles have knocked out the Packers last year and the Falcons this year (my two fav teams). So I don't necessarily like them. And the Patriots are borderline dynasty, I think they've won enough.
But lets look at the playoffs so far, The Patriots blew up on the best defense in the league and scored 41 on them, the week before that they held the best offense (of the season, and one of the best of all time) to only 3 points. They've owned each sides of the spectrum, I don't see the Eagles winning this one.
I like McNabb and Owens, but Freddie Mitchell alone makes me want them to lose more. I'm so thankful Steve Smith said what the rest of the world was thinking. He's not even a starter, only had 22 receptions on the year, yet he talks like he's been to the pro-bowl back to back to back years. That stupid belt gesture gets on my nerves, nobody needs to see a celebration on EVERY catch, even those 3-5 yard pickups. And lets not forget how he makes his own nicknames up, something most players are given by others. What Freddie doesn't realize is that neither "Fred Ex" or "Fed Ex" deliver on Sunday.
Calling out the NE defense is the last thing I would have done.

Heh! Hey my brother knows that I am a Lord of the Rings fanatic and he keeps pushing Pippins' quote from the 'The Return of the King' on me.
"The Eagles are coming, the Eagles are coming!"
Freaks me out! The Eagles took out the Nazgul! But I am still a Pats fan! :D

Wicked swine, all of you.
The Eagles represent all that is good and noble and decent in the world. And they will surely vanquish the evil juggernaut that is the Patriots. It's Dubyah's second term and patriotism is almost down for the count anyway. No way a true Patriot can thrive under a totalitarian regime.
E A G L E S Eagles!!!

Yeah, I'm betting on the Patriots to win.
Actually, I was disappointed in the halftime show. McCarney didn't once flash a nipple. Oh, well....

I was all the way Patriots, but it seemed weird that McNabb wasted sooo much time on the 4th quarter. What was up with that?

Yes, I would have to agree that the halftime show was a little on the conservative side. Plus there was not a crap load of Viagra commercials compared to last year. Seems everyone was on their best behavior. Cracked me up, though, how McCartney played the more energenic "Guns n' Roses" version of his own song, "Live & Let Die!" I was wating for Axel Rose to hit the stage any minute, but there were certainly no surprises this year. As John said, Oh, well.

Something tells me that if "Axle" had shown up, he would have pulled a "Janet Jackson".
I honestly wonder if it was that everyone was "on their best behavior" this year, or is it closer to the Superbowl commission throwing a tempertantrum for getting in trouble last year? This years half time show was seriously boring (all due respect to Sir Mcartney), even with his "Gun's 'N Roses" rendition, it was a really sad halftime show.
