Main Banner = Bad Link

On the home page where it has that banner for a new DVD (such as the newly reviewed X2) or to a new contest, the link just loads to a blank page. You guys know about that? Hopefully you'll fix it soon

I get no such error. Could you please give us your PC configuration? Either here or using the feedback page.

I tested four of the banners ("X2," "The Two Towers," "The Hulk," and the contests) in Internet Explorer 6.0, Netscape 7.0, and Opera 6.0, and they all work fine.

I wonder, as Henning says, if the problem you're having hasn't got something to do with your own configuration. Let us know what kind of PC or Mac you've got running; what processor, video card, memory, esp. browser, etc., you're using. Henning will figure it out from there; he's truly a genius with this stuff.

lol, weeeell I really couldn't tell you much, I'm not the one that upgrades this thing all the time. I know the graphics card is up to date, our internet runs smoothly with a DSL connection. We use Internet Explorer and use Windows XP. It's odd that it won't come up, I never have trouble with loading pages. Maybe out of that small bit of information you can pinpoint something for me.

Sometimes Henning takes a bit of time getting back, even to his own staff; he's a very busy guy. Be patient; he'll come through with something.

I'm aware of the problem but can't reproduce it. This makes i very hard to solve. All browsers and platforms I have tried works.

If anybody has any ideas be sure to let us know.

Actually, someone has done something cause now the banners work, thanks to whoever fixed it... as for the rest of you, go f**k yourselves, I don't need your unhelpful comments.

** Use a friend's computer, or one at a school or library.

Well 1, everyone before your post was trying to help, but then you're just like, oh well you only have this problem, guess you're stuck with it. That's very irritating. Especially considering the problem was fixed.

And 2, and I suppose I didn't voice this before, but I was very pissed about how you just 'forgot' to mention that during that whole fiasco with the dvd reviews when I almost gave up but you encouraged me to continue, that you had basically fired me in the process anyways and got someone else. That was a shitty thing to do and you know it. I was practically finished too, what the hell is with that.

1) Literally, it looked like you were the only one with a problem when clicking on the Main Banner link.

2) That was a miscommunication on both of our parts. You had already told me that you didn't feel up to the task of writing reviews on a regular basis, but I told you that I was willing to help you improve your writing skills since I saw some ability in you. However, I guess you took things the wrong way and thought that we were still considering you--after YOU had removed yourself from the process.

Besides, I can't work with you on each and every one of your reviews anyway. I have my own things to write, and everyone at the site has to be able to contribute without extra help every single time.
