Hey guys, I notice that the "new posts" section doesn't actually change order when someone actually makes a new post in a thread.
The top thread in the "new posts" section should be the thread that has the newest post. For example, if someone posts in an old thread, that thread should be bumped up to the top in the "new posts" section to let people know that there is a new entry in that thread.
Thanks

Awesome! This is great, thanks Henning!
Observation: since this feature will mean that a single, very active thread can possibly swamp the "new posts" section, maybe it'll encourage users to click on "Message Board" forums and look through the threads. Or do you think it's a better idea to just bump the thread title to the top in the "new posts" list based on the latest post so it only shows the same thread title once in that list?

Do the double posts have anything to do with the new hot list feature?

I wonder if it's something to do with the computing costs of sorting the list this way...
I'm no CS person but it would be funny if it entails like an O(N^M) kind of efficiency :p
I doubt it though.

It seems to me there was double the current number of posts before the change.

really did it shrink? I haven't noticed...how many titles used to be listed before this you think?

Why did the "new posts" section shrink after the new implementation?
