Raiders Of The Lost Archives

This question is to Henning, or whomever is in "the know". I've noticed that a lot of past topics aren't in the archives anymore. At first, I thought they were deleted by date, or how old they were. But lately a couple of older topics have crept back up on the message board that were from 2002. I know I've seen some topics disappear that were from 2003, so that leads me to believe they were deleted by the size of the thread... which makes more sense. Is this the case?
