Like A Headache That Won't Go Away

Did you guys lose a server from this recent Dillweed that hacked the site? Or did you just delete a lot of things from the databases? Suddenly I can't find a lot of threads and forums that were there before.

I hope you guys can get things back to the way they were.

I can't speak directly for this site, but in general the most backups are executed is once daily at midnight or noon, so if that's the case for this site (which I'm sure it is) they will have lost whatever they entered into the database between the time of the most recent backup and the time of the hack. Chances are if they haven't reloaded the backup files you're looking for by now, they just don't exist and you'll have to wait for them to re-enter them.

Of course this could be a completely useless post but if I'm right just say "what he said" John. ;)

Seriously, I don't know exactly what happened, either, except that, yes, we did lose some data, the most important of which we are replacing.

Well, I suppose it's not that big of a deal. I mean really... they're just threads. We can always make new ones.
