Entertaining sports film, and a pretty good drama.
It amazes me how some of these small towns in states big on fb completely consume themselves with the sport. Some HS stadiums are bigger than some on the college level.
Billy Bob seems tailor made to be a coach. Whether it's being sympathetic or commanding, he does great job at conveying such emotion. I was a little disappointed with Luke at first because his entire performance was being overly cocky and flamboyant. But after the injury, the feeling of not knowing where his life is going to go sunk in. I thought he did a good job as well.
It would seem I just can't get tired of a well made underdog sports movie. Too bad the same can't be said about supernatural thrillers. A trailer for "White Noise" was shown and I just thought.... enough already.
