Ok, this seems to be a "hot topic", but I can't seem to find any data, or legitimate sources to substantiate the rumors. Supposedly, there is a deal in the works with Hugh Jackman to do a movie about the "Kanuck" in the old days. Back before he was "Wolfie", during the "Weapon X Project". Needless to say, if this rumor is real, it could quite possibly be the biggest "Comic book Movie" of all time. I could see it easily outselling either of the X-men movies. However we still have yet to see what will become of the "Ghostrider" movie with Nick Cage. There is quite the big following for Ghostrider as well. Does anyone have any legitimate or verifiable sources for a "Wolverine Movie"?

I haven't seen anything concrete either. I have no doubt in my mind it would be a big seller as anyone who likes the X-men would most likely be checking out a Wolverine movie. But I don't know if it could top the likes of Spiderman (or 2) or the upcoming Batman movie.
I am a bit skeptical, Jackman has been known to make statements saying X3 will be the last time playing the Wolverine character. Which is understandable. Though we the fans want to see the same actor for consistency, the actors themselves must get tired of the same role after so many movies.
And I know you meant Wolvie 8), Wolfie sounds like a dog, then again, Logan isn't too far from that now is he :).

Depression,
I know the actors get tired of the rolls. I think they also don't want to be type cast. However, Jackman has done so many vastly different rolls both before and after the X-Men movies that I don't think it would be a problem for him. And yes, I meant "Wolvie"... darn my fast brain and slower fingers!
Tony,
With that type of writer, this movie could have potential!
