Josh,

What are you talking about? I am like "Homer" trying to be a "Food Critic"! If I can do it, you can do it. ;)

Tim,

Thanks for the vote of confidence! However, I'm not sure that I'd have the time as I'm a full time student now. Also, I think I might be a little too much of a "fence walker" for DVD Town's taste. I like to see both sides of the story too often. ;)

I would love to do some reviews for DVDTown, but apparently you would have to be from the U.S. and I live in Canada.

Kilgore,

This has to do with the fact that most media companies based in the U.S. can't send DVDs to Canada for legal reasons. We'd consider you fairly like any other applicant, but logistics prevent us from providing you with access to screeners--unless you're willing to review DVDs that you buy yourself...

Sasha,

How about this--if you have access to Region 1 DVDs and are willing to buy them on your own, then you have a shot.

You crash a site where the staff are asking for reviewers by soliciting the (very hard worked-for built-up over years) "visitors", and try to steal them to your own "site"?:o:(

I would say more, but other than posting something which would need to be deleted immediately anyway,
I am SPEECHLESS!!!!:@

To lucboone:

Here, here's what happened: I was just asking for some reviewers for my newsletter, and I said that I couldn't pay because I can't afford to do that right now. Tim wrote back and he just kinda exploded saying how he should get paid for reviewing, etc. But it seems Tim didn't mean to anyways, I forgave Tim, and I got some advice from Eddie. There, now you know the story.

Adam ;)
