That was a response given by Jude Law in correspondence to his recent onslaught of films.
Anyone else notice how busy this guy has been?
The past 2 years he's been a part of/ starred in:
The Aviator
Lemony Snicket
Alfie
Closer
Sky Captain
I Heart Huckabees
Cold Mountain
What I admire the most is his versatility in his role selection. One of the other busy bodies out there right now is Ben Stiller. The same couldn't be said about his roles or the quality of his movies :p.

Jude has been one BUSY dude! 3 films being released this year alone! NUTS! Maybe he spends money like it's going out of style, and wants to pay for it all? ;)

If I was getting a buttload of offers, I'd take as many as I could too. I also respect his versatility...kinda like Gary Oldman...now threre's a chameleon.

Except that Oldman's a great actor. I hope Law is better in "The Aviator" and "Alfie" than he was in "Cold Mountain" and "Sky Captain," where he almost disappeared into the woodwork he was so lackluster. (Loved the rest of "Sky Captain," though.)

John,
That's an interesting observation about Law's lack of screen presence. I wonder what caused that, since he took over Spielberg's "A.I." in the limited time he appeared and seems to be a very charismatic person. I felt there were many problems with "Cold Mountain" that caused the great actors in the project to get lost in the story and scenery that weren't there fault, and I guess the same criticism could be applied to "Sky Captain."

Overwhelmed by the great and extensive CGI work in "Sky Captain" is a distinct possiblity. Don't know about the rest. We'll see what he can really do in "Alfie" in particular.

I think he showed a lot of charisma and personality in "Talented Mr. Ripley" and "Gattica." I liked his performance in "Cold Mountain," the character was supposed to be kinda dull, the same goes for "Enemy at the Gates." Despite, these characters being rather uninteresting, I think he has screen presence and he's easy to root for.
