Gee guys, I know you have bills to pay and stuff, but could you possibly do it in a different manner than this senseless time consuming “Lord of the Rings” monotonous bombardment that you keep throwing at us. I have to go through several screens of this crap to get to where I want to go. I’m sick of this LOTR constant advertisement anyway. Talk about overkill! Can’t you just flash it for a second or two instead of running a large MPEG of this drivel? :( :(

What's with all the whining? So it's an ad, so it takes few seconds. I don't see how this prevents you from enjoying the site. I never understood people who complain about advertising. My friend whines every time a TV show is interrupted. I say to her: "Do you know that without advertising you would have to pay for viewing this garbage? BBC viewers in UK do not watch commercials and pay close to 300 bucks in tax per household with one TV. I would like to see how you hand over such cash." This shuts her up for about ten minutes.

I don't mind the new LOTR ads, at least I don't have to see one everytime I go to a new page. Just remember, DVDtown is not your site so you don't get to choose how to run it.

I was complaining about the "Elf" ad's too. It wasn't the elf ad's in particular that bothered me, rather the way the ad comes up. So the new LOTR ad's coming up would still annoy me (IF) I hadn't done the following. If you go back to the original thread about the "Elf" ad complaints, a few people posted info on how to get around them. I've incorporated all of the suggestions, and they're no longer a concern. If you don't pay attention to the suggestions people give, I have no sympathy for you. On top of which, Sasha makes a VERY good point. It is only a few seconds long, or just click on the "skip this ad" link. I quote the "Governator"... "STOP WHINING!" :.(
