Constantine

I assume that those of you that have been to the theaters in the last 2 months have seen the trailer for "Constantine". This looks like it has "potential" to be cool... but it has a decidedly "Matrixesque" feel to it. Being that "Keanu" is the lead, it makes me think that the director is trying to lure in the same crowd. It has a pretty cool premise with the whole angels vs. demons thing. But the scene in the trailer where Keanu puts his arms together (to make the tatoo's on them form one large one) and chants... is a little cheesey. Or at least Keanu made it cheesey. Either way, it still looks pretty cool, and I'm going to check it out.

A potentially cool character that could be ruined by Keanu. I wonder how many going into the movie is going to know about it's comic book roots (Hellblazer).

This was supposed to be out in November 2004, but it got delayed.

Anyway, Rachel Weisz is always interesting, and the story seems kinda sad (a hero who can never go to Heaven no matter how much good he does). I might see it.
