Ign's Filmforce reports that on March 11th an official trailer will be released with the theatrical release of The "ROBOTS" animated feature. Members of starwars.com " the Hyperspace " will be able to download the trailer 3 days prior.
Filmforce also hosts tons of images (not production images...but screenshots)
I Have to say...images that are CG Heavy look right out of a PC Game...they are so "perfect" and clean that they look like pre-rendered covers of a pc game made with 3dsmax....some images reminded me "Wing commander prophecy" screenshots.
I Really dont get why ILM which has such a great history in CG Stuff makes effects that look "phoney"? episode 2 had scenes like that too...i know its better for production costs
to use almost in all scenes a blue screen, but its too fake...it looks like people acting infront of a painting....even if it moves its not real.

Yeah I posted a link that has a site with pretty much EVERY screenshot out there. Should be few spaces down.

"Members of starwars.com " the Hyperspace " will be able to download the trailer 3 days prior. "

In other words, it will be available on the net for everyone on that day. It's inevitible that someone hosts it.

color me fed up.

i saw episode ii on opening day, and it was so bad that i almost fell asleep. i think that hayden christensen has been awful in every movie except for "life as a house", and his silly facial expressions in the photos that i've seen are enough to make me watch this movie in a crowded theatre so that i can laugh at it and anyone who thinks that he/she is watching a decent movie.

That's a lot of people to laugh at, provides a pretty good workout I suppose. Be sure to bring some oxygen cans with you in order to breath for time to time. "And remember: short controlled bursts..."

"Hehehe...hehehe...he...he..." Almost like machine gun giggles;)

Does that mean you never saw Shattered Glass?

Isn't Indiana Jones 4 in the works with Harrison Ford playing a 50 year old Jones in the 60's ot 70's? Horrible idea I think. Oddly enough I don't think Rocky VI is all that bad of an idea. They've been flogging that pale horse for decades, the Indiana thing is just wrong.

I agree with most (if not all) of the gripes so far. Except for the one about Hamil giving a "wooden" performance. Maybe it's just childhood nostalgia, but I still like his performances in IV - VI. In any case, all of the other gripes, are solid proof that old "GL" should stick to "Producing" and leave the "Writing" to the REAL writers! He's proved he can't write with the horrible dialogue in both "PM", and "AOTC". I don't think we should expect much better from "ROTS". However, it is still the final installment of the "Star Wars" movie saga, so, I'm pretty much with Depression on this one. If there are some REALLY cool saber fights, (meaning some things we haven't seen yet) and lots of cool action. I'm pretty well satisfied. Ever since "PM's" disappointment, I've come to expect very little from the Star Wars films. But, at very least, we'll be able to close the book (as it were) on George's writing for good! I'm a little curious as to what "other projects" GL has in store for us in the future. He's proven that he can do well when teamed up with his best buddy "Spielberg".

Lucas sets himself up for disaster with his scripts. They call for nothing but visuals and don't allow any room to let the actors actually spread their wings. Like Carrie Fisher said on the trilogy bonus dvd, "you can write this stuff but you can't say it".

It's just ridiculously unfair to ask for decent performances out of these otherwise well respected actors/actresses while talking about death stars and robots, all while being surrounded by nothing but blue screens. You can't ask for much more from them.

It would be cool if the movie used more sets and miniatures like the original Stars Wars and LOTR to give the actors at least some sense of their surroundings. If you watch the Episode I and II DVD featurettes every single one has a actual shooting representation of what McGregor and Christianson have to work with. The scene in the diner from AOTC has Ewan pretending to hug a huge, entirely CG character, and then having an entire conversation with a character that doesn't exist. It's ridiculous.

Anyways, who cares, Star Wars is still fun. Certainly not as much as it used to be, but I knew it wouldn't be the same in 1999 and I still know it now. Although I sincerely hope that Episode III will deliver. Too bad Vadar doesn't even show up 'til the last 10 minutes.

Ben,

I'm with you. Life as a House and Shattered Glass proved to me that Christensen CAN act. Attack of the Clones solidified for me that Lucas can take any good actor and turn them into a piece of balsa.

Look at Portman and Ewan, both fine actors who end up being totally lifeless under the direction of the Dark Lord of the S**t.

Sean (funny how just switching a couple of letters around in Sith...) ;)
