Does anybody know why Bryan Singer left X-Men for Superman? All I can seem to find through Google is a lot of angry X-Men fans that want to kill him. I thought X2 was a great flick and I don't get why he'd leave right when the series was so well setup for a third. Now the director of X3 is some guy I've never heard of.

Change of scenary? A lot of people like to diversify their resume, though going from one superhero to the next isn't really crossing the border now is it.

I seriously doubt that was it. All Singer ever talked about was making X-Men movies for the rest of his career on every special feature from Usual Suspects to X-Men, X-Men 1.5 and X2. That's why I find it exceedingly strange that he left with no explanation.

Warner gave him a better deal. I believe he has his own production offices on their lot, so he can work on both Superman and the Logan's Run remake.
I believe Singer even asked Fox to push back X3 so he could still do it. But, nope. Hopefully, Matthew Vaughn is up to snuff.

Well if that's true that sucks. He had the X-Men down to a science. Superman is a bottom feeder on my list of favorite comics, despite the Tarantino explanation of his greatness in Kill Bill Vol. 2. Batman baby!
