I was looking for "Metropolis", which was restored and released via Kino, and can't seem to find it on the database. I have tried searching by title and also by director. The only hits I have come across are the animated version, and another "cheapie" edition of the film. Any hints?
Thanks, Mike

In addition to "Metropolis", I couldn't find four other Kino films from the German Masterworks collection: Nosferatu, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, The Golem, and Waxworks. I also couldn't find "The Ghoul" with Boris Karloff, which was produced by MGM/UA last year. There are other editions for Nosferatu and Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, but not the Kino productions.

In addition I couldn't find a Lon Chaney, sr. 2 disc collection that was produced last year for TCM that contained "Laugh, Clown, Laugh", "The Ace of Hearts" and "The Unknown". Any clues on where to find this?

Not every film on DVD is in our database. We try to keep up, but there are literally hundreds of films released on DVD every month; heck, every week! So we rely in part on readers like yourself to remind us of what needs to be added. Thanks much.

post any dvds missing from dvd town under one of the many "missing dvds" boards. just put the name of the dvd, no one needs an explaination of what the movie is, just put the name and some one on staff (probably jesper) will add it.

I am not reprimanding anyone when I inquire about what I have noticed missing. As far as I can see, there is no missing Dvd section on the Message Board. I assume it is communicated by posting the notice under the General heading for DVD Town. I have just started using the website about a week ago, and there doesn't seem to be a protocol for what is missing. As far as providing info on the DVD, I thought that would be helpful in tracking it down. Thanks.
