"Hmm... It looks like I'm the only one whom enjoyed it." --Josh
No, you've got a couple of us with you who enjoyed it. It's very British, very much the combination of wry, deadpan humor and pure silliness, much of it in the Monty Python vein, with narration that sounded like it came directly from the books (but it's been, like, decades since I read the first book). Anyway, a lot of funny stuff in there, but I can see how some viewers would not want to put up with so meandering a plot. It's really a series of vaguely related gags and set pieces with little story or characterization. Still, funny enough.

John,
I thought it had a "Benny Hill" kind of feel to it. Maybe all British humor is too much alike. :D
