Hello all of my old friends!

It has been quite a while since my days of DVD Town, but I wanted to see how everybody is doing. Miss you guys and I miss working with you all.

Everything going well? What is new Henning, John and Eddie?

I haven't been up to too terrible much. Working and playing hockey. Still watching a lot of DVDs. I think I watched about eight movies this past weekend. Finally saw 'Crash.' It was good, but not great.

Dean, how great to hear from you! When people disappear from the staff, it's like they must have fallen off the end of the world. Wonderful to hear you're still around and thinking of us. Of course, we think of you all the time because your name is attached to so many reviews here. Anyway, ditto what Eddie said: You're welcome back any time.

I figured with my long-windedness, the database would need them trimmed down some.

I haven't thought about writing any reviews, but after reading your posts and thinking about it some... it is a bit tempting.

With the big professional change and whatnot... I actually do have some free time these days.

You're not long-winded; you're substantive. There's a reason why good folks keep coming back to this site--to read full-length analyses, not "quick" reviews that have nothing to say. (y)

Anyway, your reviews of "Starship Troopers" and "Black Hawk Down" remain favorites of mine. Come back, come back, wherever you are. :)

Hi Eddie! I just got the email.

Sorry... had a week of training and last week was uhm... beyond busy.

Anyways... I thought it over during my week of training and I will definitely put some more reviews together. I'm kind of excited about the upcoming Hi-Def formats. I upgrated to a Samsung HDTV and have been loving my Xbox 360. When the Toshiba players arrive, I'm sure I'll pick one up.

I'll gladly do reviews for the gaming system too.

Anyways... sorry about the two weeks of silence. Hopefully, no more out of town for quite a while.

I'll update my user profile with my correct new email addy.

I'll also throw together a classic horror review or something.
