HI:) When I try to search for certain DVD's in the database that end in apostrophe s , such as : Stephen King's It , the search result is
You searched for 'stephen king\'s it'
Your search - stephen king\ s it - did not match anything in our DVD database.
(and if you just type "it" you get 315+ pages!)
Why does it add the \ in the title??
Biggrandpa gave me the link for the movie,
but I still can't seem to find it when I search.
Should I be typing it a different way?
Thanks :)
Karrie

i would just type "stephen it" and that should work. when i search for specific titles, i always chop up the title, so your problem wont happen.

Karrie,
Sometimes you have to find another way to "skin the cat".
DVD Town's search engine doesn't appear to be as advanced (no offense Henning) as IMDB.com's (Internet Movie Database). When you type "stephen king's it" (without quotes) in IMDB's search, it takes you strait to the movie. What you may consider doing is finding something unique to the movie on IMDB in which to search under here at DVD Town. For the most part when you search for something here at DVD Town, you can find it fairly easily. However there are those occasions such as "Stephen King's IT" where the word "it" would be in so many of the descriptions, that you WILL get 300 plus results. That's why I suggest finding something more unique to your search.
Hope that helps.
