I was wondering what happened to the backs of the cover art that we could see when we clicked on the cover art. It's not that important to me but it was a nice feature to have. Any info would be appreciated.

We usually get our cover art either from the studio press sites or from one of your sponsors. Sometimes the back cover art is just not available to us.

John,

Thanks for the response. The reason I am asking is because there are DVDs that used to show back cover art that don't anymore. For example I'm pretty sure I used to be able to see the back cover art for "This is Spinal Tap" and it is not there anymore. I don't think we can see the back cover art for any DVDs on this site anymore.

Don't take this the wrong way. I am not angry or anything. Like I said its really no big deal. I'm just wondering what happened. Thanks again for the response.

Oh, yes, Michael, there is still plenty of back cover art, but not for everything. We have thousands of entries in our database, and probably a third to half of them include back cover art.

I don't know what happened to some of it that's gone missing, though; maybe in the site upgrade of a year or so back, we lost some of it. I know that when I add cover art manually for many of my own reviews, I usually don't take the time to add back cover art. Call it laziness; mostly it's a lack of time. I spend more time downloading screen shots from the studio press sites than worrying about back covers.

We have made some small changes to the way we display cover art. The old back covers are temporarily offline.
