E.T. limited edition

The package says that disc 2 (containing the 1982 cut) does not have the 5.1 surround track. Is this true, is the package incorrect?

The 1982 cut does have 5.1 sound. The 2-disc set has both DD 5.1 and DTS 6.1 for both movies. The 3-disc set has only DD 5.1 for the 1982 cut. The 2002 cut in both sets has both DD 5.1 and DTS 6.1 sound.
