Worst of the superheros

After my rather painful root canal, I mean sitting through the Fantastic Four, I think it's time to rate the worst of the costumed avenger movies. And I mean big budget. Not like the Dolph Lundgren version of the "Punisher." So let's hear it. What was really bad. For me...

1. Catwoman
2. Electra
3. Fantastic Four
4. Daredevil
5. Batman And Robin
6. Superman IV
7. Superman III

I'm sure I'm forgetting a few, so I'm leaving plenty of room.

I see I may have stumbled across some rather large nerves. ;) Oh well. We all have our llkes and dislikes of the vast sea of comic characters. It's good to know, however, that people are still interested in the "less" known characters out there, and not just being "posers" and saying their fav' is "Spiderman" or "Wolverine". My favorite has always been "Nightcrawler", which, if you're familiar with the character, his real name is "Kurt Wagner" (a German). My handle here at DVD Town is actually a rough translation of "Nightcrawler" in German. ;)

Wait a second. The Flash is the second most useless superhero of all time. All he can do is run around real fast. Big deal. The only superhero more useless is Aquaman. Aquaman's great if the Titanic takes a header, but what happens if the forces of evil assemble in Utah? Nothing. Aquaman can't do squat and the Flash is running around in circles.

What, are you saying Hal Jordan is a better GL than G'nort?

And what's with the hate on Green Lantern? The best GL, Hal Jordan, was a freakin' test pilot in his civilian identity and a member of an intergalactic police force with a power ring that can create anything he can imagine. Not to mention fellow GL, John Stewart, is kickin' butt on "Justice League Unlimited."

You had better not be talking about the characters, Josh, or I will have to go Mxyzptlk on your ass. The Flash (Barry Allen, the real Flash) is the best superhero of all-time. Dude can run around the world eight times, bang your wife, travel back in time to kick Baby Hitler's ass, and bang your sister all in the time it takes you to think about blinking.

Does anyone remember the "Wonder Twins"? That was enough to make you want to slit your wrists. Or, how about "The Green Lantern"? "The Flash" was borderline. Of the "Fantastic 4", I sort of liked "Thing", and "The Human Torch", but Stan Lee must have been drinking when he came up with the title for elastoboy "Mr. Fantastic". :D That title today sounds like it should be said with a lisp. ;) How about "Mr. Fabulous"?
