War of the Worlds

I didn't see a topic on this?! Has anyone else gone to see it??
I actually caught up with my films this weekend, and caught it on Sunday afternoon.
Wasn't too impressed though, I must say. I heard so many things about it, and then was a little let down by the ending. Plus, I don't really see what everyone is talking about regarding SS's directing. I mean, it was good but nothing extraordinary IMO.

Thoughts?
