Flightplan

Is anyone interested in seeing this movie? I really like Jody Foster, she's an excellent actor. The premise looks intriguing, and looks like it's going to be a rollercoaster ride. I'll be seeing it opening night.

Yeah, I plan on seeing it as well.

I really like Foster and Peter Sarsgaard. And Sean Bean of course.

I instantly thought of The Forgotten after seeing the trailer. And it's kind of weird how this and Red Eye are both coming out this fall.

I don't think these "coincidences" aren't actual in Hollywood. Look at "Bugs Life" and "Antz" being released at the same time. I'm sure there are many other examples, but I can't think of them off the top of my head.

For me, "Red-Eye" looks so completely uninteresting. I really like Cillian Murphy, but this movie just holds no interest for me.

I'm not sure that associating "Flightplan" with "The Forgotten" is saying good things for it. ;) I saw "The Forgotten" as well, and had high hopes, but I wound up being really disappointed.

Exactly, I wasn't too big on The Forgotten either. I just thought of it because it's basic premise is similar.

Likewise, I didn't think Red Eye looked all that interesting either, but I did like how the trailer swindles you into thinking romance comedy, and then switches to thriller.

You can put Jody in anything and I'm there. She's one of my favorite all-time actress. As much as I thought "Panic Room" was so-so, I loved her performance. I'm certainly looking forward to "Flightplan".

I agree about jodie-- she is just a really talented actress-- anything she is in will be enjoyable. I have actually not seen the Forgotten, but I don't really intend to compare the two until I see them both...
