I have to disagree with you there.

Stallone may be among the best character actors out there, but to brand him an action icon is a bit too much.

I really can't see why all of you have to pick on Stallone. The guy is one of our best American actors and has been in some of the best films ever made. He's an icon to the action genre and should be respected as one of the best charater actors of our time.

I came down on Sly a little hard as well for his recent film choices, but "Rocky" WAS a good film. As was "Oscar", "Cliffhanger", "Demolition Man", and "Copland". Maybe Sly hasn't had as many hits as other actors out ther, but he's certainly not a "B list" actor. I think he's definitely making a mistake with the upcoming "Rocky" and "Rambo" films. I could be wrong. You never know, these films could miraculously turn out for the better, but history has taught us better.
