...rather catchy (but most teasers are, so...)
EDIT: And check out the video blogs too...they're kinda fun. A nice making of feature with lots of footage:

Well, it looks interesting, I'll give it that. But, lets hope if they do nothing else, they keep John Williams' score

"I like Batman as much as the next guy, but everyone knows that if Batman and Superman got in a fight, Superman would break his little toys and make Batman cry like a little girl." -Josh Lambert
Actually, Batman and Superman have fought in the comics and Superman has been beaten by Batman repeatedly (once with a pair of Kryptonite boots). Superman may be all-powerful, but he is a very dim bulb, and Batman may not have any superpowers but he's sharper than a tack. Brain very often beats brawn.

Superman and Superman 2 are arguably two of the best superhero films ever made. Donner's Superman has a high level of corniness to it, but this is no doubt due to the fact that this is where the character was in terms of the context of the late 70's. Pre-crisis Superman, pre-dcu reboot and John Byrne's relaunch of the character. Take a lookat Smallville it draws from BOTH pre and post crisis continuity, and yes the show has a corny side to it, chalk it up his Kansas farm boy upringing. Granted, Superman has always had a distinct appeal fighting for truth, justice and "the american way" (the last which the comics has all but dropped). He's the big blue boy scout and rightly so.
Batman and Superman are like night and day. The big two of the holy trinity of the DCU, there methods and style are so different in comparison. I love them both. I'm a fan of X2 despite a weak ending and from what I've seen from the comic con footage, blue tights and various other sneaks, Singer's take on SR looks damn promising.

I move for a vote of no confidence in Mr. Raynor! VOTE NOW, VOTE NOW, VOTE NOW! :D
Tim,
I like Batman as much as the next guy, but everyone knows that if Batman and Superman got in a fight, Superman would break his little toys and make Batman cry like a little girl. ;) :D

Chrtrptnt,
I found Ottman's score for The Usual Suspects was pretty effective. Also, his score for X2 is also a big improvement over Kamen's X-men score.
That said, I don't think he's quite Williams either (though there are many out there who dislike Williams' style)

Saw the same trailer last night during "Smallville". Looks like a hark back to the Superman of old, which I think is good. Let's face it, a Superman movie can never be like Batman Begins cause Supes is all about the goodness in a person that stems from the 50's era while Batman is inherently dark by nature, molded by the death of Wayne's parents, etc. It's good that they kept the theme music, which is so synonymous with the character.
Well, this is only a short clip without any sense of the real story. So it's probably too early to start commenting on the movie.

That has to be the cheesiest trailer I've ever seen! It really makes the movie look dumb, dumb and dumber. It looks like a total remake of the first Superman movie back in the 70's and I can't say I liked that movie very much. I thought the first half of the film was good, but it really went downhill with all the stupid Kent & Superhero cliches. I find the old Superman movie a corney comedy more than anything else, and I hate to say it, I don't like campy superhero films. Give me the realistic approach all the way baby! "Batman Begins" rocks! "Superman" sucks!
Yep, my mind is made up. The trailer gives me the impression of yet another cornball Superman movie. It truly looks like a disaster in the making, and one can only hope it bombs big time. ;)

Williams is credited on imdb for the main theme, but it could just be a bastardization of it. John Ottman is also credited as composer, and nothing on his list of films stands out to me as being memorable.

Chris,
Look on the bright side, at least we agree about Captain Kirk. ;)
