The Golden Globes will be handed out tomorrow (Monday, 16 January 2006) night. Just for fun, here are my predix. :)
Picture - Drama: Brokeback Mountain
Picture - Comedy or Musical: Walk the Line
Foreign Language Film: Joyeux Noel (Merry Christmas), France
Director: Ang Lee, Brokeback Mountain
Actress - Drama: Felicity Huffman, Transamerica
Actor - Drama: Philip Seymour Hoffman, Capote
Actress - Comedy or Musical: Reese Witherspoon, Walk the Line
Actor - Comedy or Musical: Joaquin Phoenix, Walk the Line
Supporting Actress: Rachel Weisz, The Constant Gardener
Supporting Actor: Paul Giamatti, Cinderella Man
Screenplay: George Clooney and Grant Heslov, Good Night, and Good Luck
Music Score: John Williams, Memoirs of a Geisha
Song: A Love That Will Never Grow Old, Brokeback Mountain
(The Hollywood Foreign Press Assn. didn't really like "Crash", but if "Crash" takes home something, it will be for Screenplay by Paul Haggis and Bobby Moresco. If this happens, then Clooney could take Best Supporting Actor. The HFPA will want to give Clooney an award for working so hard this year attacking the political right.)

I really want to see Paradise Now. Has anyone here taken a look at it? The trailer is quite powerful and looks to be a unique and insightful film.

I liked seeing Hugh Laurie win for the TV show "House" and George Cloony for "Good Night and Good Luck". Beyond that, I really could care less who won what. I really think most of the films up for awards this year are dull and uninspiring. I know we've always been able to use the Golden Globes as a way of measuring the Academy Awards, and my perdiction is it's going to be the year of Bareback Mountain. Oh, joy! :@

Eddie,
Very impressive predictions! Although, I'm still shocked that Cronenberg wasn't nominated for Best Director. I'm going to check out Brokeback Mountain this Friday.
Tim,
I agree with you - Hugh Laurie's speech was one of the highlights of the night. I also really enjoyed Steve Carrell's speech.
