Who in their right mind thought it was a good idea to gives the schmuck who directed "Darkness Falls" another movie? That was the most godawful turd I have ever seen.

The Demonic Tooth Fairy, my rear end.

I totally agree with you on Darkness Falls but "Rings" was very well done. Plus, I think that the studio was to blame for the failure of Darkness Falls. Jonathan Liebesman wanted to make a gory/scary R rated film but the studio wanted a PG-13 movie (according to the audio commentary).

I don't think the real problem is who's directing or what studio is involved, but why the hell bother making anything to do with this stupid film? Texas Chainsaw is the most mindless drival, most overrated piece of horror crap ever made, and the remake made little improvements, if any.

You see, this is the kind of crap I'm talking about that Hollywood does to make us all waste or time and money.

I too liked the remake better than the original but if you don't like the film, you have to at least give it the award for best movie title of all-time. THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE. How cool does that sound? :D
