I rented disc 1 yesterday and I love it. Now I must have the set and refuse to spend $100 on a 15 hour long dvd. Ive found some pretty cheap on ebay (around $50). I'm just wondering how much you guys got yours for.

I got mine from half.com for $72 brand-new delivered. That's the best deal I've found so far.

Sean (course, I know a guy who knows a guy who heard of a guy who can get it for a low price with a one-time protection fee...)

If you get it "Cheap" you're getting a bootleg. I paid about 80 for mine 2 years ago and haven't regretted it for a moment.

yes, i have seen loads of Chinese burned bootlegs for about $20. i was referring to some auction of the real one (with pictures, not stock photos) that were buy it now $60.

You might be ok... just make sure they're selling the Tin, too. For 60 you might be alright, though.

thats one ive found. I think ill just hold off on it for now. ive seen episodes 1-3 so far (loving it) and will just continue to rent the discs. hopefully a price ddrop will happen on the set new.
