In addition to the Favorite sitcom topic, and since most of us appear to be Seinfeld fans, I decided to post this one. I chose "The betrayal", though it was really hard to pick just ONE episode.

Notes from TVTome.com (why I picked it):
This episode was shown backwards in the following fashion: all scenes were shown normally, but they were shown in reverse order with a caption indicating the time frame of the scene in relation to the previous scene. Essentially the punch line was delivered and the setup was shown later. The description for the episode reflects the order in which the scenes appear. This was an intriguing concept that forced the viewer to pay closer attention than normal.

Being as big of a fan of Seinfeld as I am its almost impossible for me to pick my favorite episode. But if I had to pick one it would most likely be "The Outing" from Season 4, which is the episode that has the famous qoute "not that there's anything wrong with that". For me that situations in that episode are just so skillfully done and every scene in that episode is hilarious. Here is the TVTome description of this episode.

No thanks to Elaine, Jerry must work hard to prove he is straight when a college reporter mistakenly reports that he and George are gay, "not that there is anything wrong with that." Things really get out of hand when the article is picked up by the New York Post.

Some of my other favorite episodes are
The Opposite Season 5
The Alternate Side Season 3
The Bizarro Jerry Season 8
The Burning Season 9
The Fire Season 5

Best episode ever is by far The Merv Griffin Show. Kramer finds the set of The Merv Griffin show in a dumpster behind some studio in a New York alley and seizes the opportunity to make his apartment into the set of a real TV Show. Throughout the episode Elaine, Jerry, George and Newman are guests (and co-hosts) on the show and Kramer never breaks character. It is the greatest episode of all time, although I can say that about dozens of episodes of Seinfeld, this just happens to be the first one to come to mind whenever I'm asked what my favorite is.
