Does anybody know the difference between these two settings?

I have a 7.1 audio system.

Thanks in advance!

Try and configure your speakers through your soundcard, not the lame windowsXP Speaker configurator.

As far as room accoustics go, non of the two options is quite the best. depends on your room situation, and offcourse, your sound card.

Cheers.

I've already configured my speakers through my soundcard. I was just curious.
