The spin-off of The X-Files that just kinda appeared and disappeared.
I have participated in discussions regarding the series never being released to DVD and one factor that pops up is the foreshadowing of the events of 9/11 being basically outlined and detailed (with some changes, obviously) in the first episode of the series.
I realize that some people haven't fully moved on from that day... but its been more than a few years since it happened.
While keeping it off the DVD release list is understandable, most people probably don't even remember the show and from what I have seen, only hardcore fans of the X-Files and the show itself are pushing for it. Otherwise, half the people that might be sensitive to the events in the first episode would never even bother to glance it over since it barely made a blip on the ratings radar when it was actually on the air.
I still hold hope that one day... maybe... this series will be released on DVD.

The Lone Gunmen is scheduled to be released at the end of this month, 3/29. So watch out for it.

I loved the X-Files and also the shortlived Lone Gunmen. I can't wait until it is released on DVD. Hock is right, it is coming out on March 29th. It will be released as a complete series.

For some reason I always found myself disapointed with "The Lone Gunmen" in comparison to "The X-Files" I remeber being really excited for the show to come out but whenI fineally saw it I was not all that impressed. I think the reason I did not like it was becuase I really wanted a cigerette smoking man television show. but what you gonna do, Its all for fun, i'll rent it before I buy.
