Hey,

Does anybody know about these Tv shows on DVD, b/c Warner put out Jetson's the same time they put out Season One of the Flintstones, whereas they have continued putting out more seasons of the Flintstones, including Season 4 coming out Nov. 15, but there haven't been any continuing seasons of The Jetsons on DVD, they stopped with Season One, that is so rude, they shouldn't put out Season One, unless they intend on putting out the rest of the season! ! ! ! ! Also, the same exact thing with Mad About You, the studio put out Seasons One & Two, but never as far as I know, Seasons 3, 4, 5, and so one. Does anybody out there know anything.
It's b/c of crap like this that I don't trust the studios!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Studios are in business to make money, not to please a select few rabid fans. It's possible that the first "Jetsons" and "Mad About You" DVD sets didn't make a lot of money. It's also possible that the studios involved are on a schedule to release the next installments at a later date. Remember, there's a ton of stuff in every studio's vault that hasn't been released on DVD yet. Patience is in order. (I'm still waiting for "The African Queen," a Bogart/Hepburn classic that has never been issued on DVD.)

All,

I'm curious. If you're going to spend the time to write a full paragraph (or more) on a topic, does it really save you that much time to write "b/c" in lieu of because? Even in a messenger context, where quick communication is important, and acronyms are largely used, if you use them too often, suddenly you're writing in Morse code, and your readers are in need of a cryptographer to figure out what you are trying to say.

When you're creating a "post", it's sort of like a short letter. There's just no need for short word acronyms here. Occasionally, you'll see a lot of us turn a film title into an acronym, but only BECAUSE it's an extremely long title, or we're using the title often in a thread. Effective communication is the name of the game in writing, folks. Use it. ;)

Tim,

I know it's coming, so... BRING IT ON!! ;) :D

"The African Queen has been released in other Regions, John; you should know to never say never." --Chrtrptnt

In the immortal words of the Bond title, "Never Say Never Again." I should have added, of course, never "in the U.S.," which for DVD Town is the only regional code we serve. But your point is well taken; with patience all things will come to pass.
