The Hudson Hawk: 15th Anniversary DVD was supposed to be released on July 25th and I haven't been able to find it anywhere. I just checked Amazon.com and it is now being listed as Not Currently Available. Anyone know what happened to it? I realize that the fact that a critically reviled film such as it was getting a 15th Anniversary edition came as a shock to everyone to begin with (even to myself who happens to be one of the 3 people on the planet that actually enjoyed it), but now it has seemed to vanish without a trace. What gives?

What gives is that it apparently wasn't released as planned. Sony does not list the new edition at their press site. They probably just postponed the release.

Hey, I just got the regular (previous) anamorphic DVD of this film a few months ago, for $5.50 in the Walmart "discount" tub!
And I'm one of the few people who originally gave this funny film a "thumbs up" review, but most people didn't care for it! Well, I also liked THE LAST AMERICAN HERO (mostly), but that one got panned too. :(

Wasn't Hudson Hawk rated one of the worst movies of all time? Seriously I read that somewhere years ago.
