Testing

Earlier I wasn't able to post, just testing it out again.

But like everyone else I like the new design.

A lot seem to be complaining about the multiple page reviews. The multiple pages isn't what seems to be bothersome, more so the single thin column layout.

Are we going to be able to upload our own avatars anytime soon?

So far, the biggest disappointment in the site redesign, is that you can no longer "see" whenever new posts are made to the existing subject threads (on the right side column).

Before, dvdtown would indicate if a new post was made "today" (and say so in the summary list), and also, each time a comment was made, THAT thread jumped up to the top of the subjects (in first position). BUT NOT NOW.

And what's with the "Last Post" column, in the heading after clicking thru from the left-side master list? The date hasn't changed for any "last" posts rather the date given is when the first post was made.

I'm hoping these are just growing pains, and that the overall smoothness will return before long.
