Well, that's really no big news. And the second link I can't see unless I register with the site. Sorry, but I don't need another site to send me more junk mail.

Nevertheless, the first article tells me no more than we've already heard, and that would be a big maybe for the Hobbit. It all reads as more gossip than fact if you ask me.

If i am not mistaken, "Hobbit" rights shift from New Line Cinema to Producer Saul Zaentz if it doesn't get off the ground by the end of this year (I'm not quite sure about the deadline, but I'm sure about Saul Zaentz)
Saul said he would opt for P.J.
I dont know if Jackson himself doesn't want to do it. But i must say, i think he reached pinnacle with LOTR.
King Kong had great CGI (kong himself and the dinos), but that credit goes to WETTA digital and Andy "The gollum" Serkis. Overall i thought the movie was very boring, drugging and filled with unnecessary scenes. (All the Boat scenes come in mind)

He also shot a short film to test the "Red Camera" a while ago...people who've seen it say it's nothing special.

I dunno, i hate this Lucas-Spielberg hybrid.
