When I select the commentary from the intitial set up screen on disc 2 I get the correct voice commentary but the wrong titles of the speakers.

Example: If I select Cast Commentary I get the cast commentary with the titles of the Production Crew.

Not sure if this is a common problem? I would like to contact someone about it, but Im not sure who to inform? Any help or comments are welcome.

Thanks a bunch all.

You may have hit the subtitle button by accident. The name titles for the speakers when you watch the movie with commentaries are encoded as subtitle streams. You can play around with the subtitles (and the audio) since nothing has been locked--unlike a lot of other discs that have different audio options and commentaries.

Thanks a bunch for the reply. I hadn't thought that the names were streamed as subtitles. I will definately check that out.

Greatly appreciated

Hey man,

I checked that out last night. I tried changing the subtitles and it didnt do much for me.

I think its a problem with the actual DVD. I tried to see if my friends DVD set had the same problem and it didnt. I also tried mine on his DVD player to see if it was my player and it still came up wrong.

Its no big deal, if I go into my main menu I can change the options from there to get the right titles. Though its still kinda of annoying, I can live with it.

I really appreciate the help man. Now I know where I can head to when I have a problem.
Thanks a bunch pal. [:)]

Hey, no problem. We review DVDs, and we should be able to provide DVD-related services, too, right? [:)]

If you still have the receipt, you can try to exchange the set at the store. You can also try to contact New Line via their website (www.newline.com) to see if you can get a replacement disc (or even the whole set replaced).

So my first disc has this error.
I play the commentary on disc two for the cast and the producers headlines come up. I think its just my disc so I go out and buy a new disc set. The second disc set has the same problem. I've tried it on different players and get the same problem.

Im sure that Im destined to have a faulted DVD set of the extended version. I think I'll give up trying.
