My Town BETA online

It is now possible to add titles to your collection or wish list. We will work to add features and fine tune it on a daily basis. We will listen carefully to our current My Town users and make a service that they find worth using.

On February 26th we will open up the service to new subscribers.

Glad to have this feature back online and to see my Wish List. For some reason however when I add new movies to my wish list they doen't appear to show up in the list.

Any thoughts or am I doing something incorrectly?

Looking forward to the continued evolution fo the site and February 26.

We found an error. We will apply a fix very soon!

I can login to My Town but I don't see my movies. On top right hand corner, I see "Welcome Back" and "View My Movies" but it's not clickable.

Please disregard that, I figured it out. Thanks

We need a "Delete" button for "My Collection" and "My Wish List."

Yeah i can not delete anything from my lists

Also it would be nice to have a transfer button from my wish list to my collection. that way i don't have to delete one by one. It will transfer my dvd's i bought to my collection and delete them from my wishlist.

also...if you go to a dvd that you have in your collection already...it doesnt stop you from adding it twice like it use to

Now you can delete entries or move them between "My Collection" and "My Wish List."

First of all, everyone did a fantastic job on the re-make of this site. Thanks for all your efforts to make it user friendly.

I'm sure it's in the works, but a collection Count would be nice for both the Collection and Wishlist.

Also it seems to take a good 30 to 45 secs to load My town completely and I'm running on a T1 connection.

When you say it takes a good 30-40 seconds for My Town to load completely, do mean to load all of the titles in your collection to the screen? If so, there may be something happening with your Internet connection. I have about 500 titles I've listed in my collection, and using a broadband cable modem they all load up in about a second or two.

Admittedly, I have a fast cable connection, Comcast's premium service, and I use a speedy computer, an Intel Core 2 Duo 9700, and speedy video card, an ATI 1950, but still you should be getting faster speeds that you are.

Your site should put the total amount of movies you have in your collection and the total amount of movies you have in your wish list. Just like you had it in your old site

Of course, if each of the titles was an actual link to the movie details, cover art, and reviews, even better.

And next come our public profiles, where other people can see our collections.

In the old wish list there was a release date by each of the films. can you please put back this feature.

also your doing a great job.

We now have a link to all of the disc's details, the little "i" to the right of each film title.
